Almost a month has passed since Malta assumed the rotating presidency of the EU. As each presiding country, it set out it’s priorities - the migration, the single market, the security issues, the social inclusion, the Europe’s neighbourhood and the maritime sector - that were soon published all over the media. Nevertheless, it’s representatives are also aiming to accomplish even a more complex task : to save the project of the European Union, make it more understandable to the ordinary citizens and to restore the trust in the EU institutions in the context of current political circumstances.
